Competition: The Open Book Programming Competition I

ACM MPSTME organized their first event, the Open Book Programming Contest (OBPC), in association with CodeChef and Croma. The OBPC had about 120 registrations with participants from many colleges. It was the first competition held online in MPSTME which also promoted the use of GCC compilers in the college. The winner was given a DVD Player sponsored by Croma. This event was followed by a Guest Lecture on "How to Develop a Search Engine in Thirty Minutes" on the next day and also the prize distribution ceremony.
