Workshop: Digital Photography Workshop

Owning a digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera can be both exciting and challenging. This two-day course assisted students in understanding the controls and functions of their digital SLR camera. This included camera menu options such as image quality & size, focus & exposure modes, and color space & white balance settings. Fundamental technical information including aperture, shutter speed, ISO and exposure was also discussed. It was conducted with the help of FX School.
Industrial Visit: Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City

An Industrial Visit was conducted to the Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City. Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City is a campus/technology park located on the Thane-Belapur Road, Koparkhairane in Navi Mumbai, India. There were 60 students in this visit to the DAKC.
Seminar: Information Security

A seminar on Information Security was given by Keyur Shah, founding member of "Actonate-Activating Innovations"(a startup). Topics like Types of Threats, Denial of Services(DoS), Phishing, were illustrated. Concepts of Social Engineering, KeyLogging, MD5 Cracker, Phishing and USB Stealers were practically demonstrated. Students were also given basic security tips to avoid keylogging, trojans or spywares affecting them. The seminar was held in association with Actonate and certificates were given to the participants.
