Events in Taqneeq '09

Mad Ads(October 13, 2009) - Mad Ads was an event where the contestants had to come with wacky ideas for promoting products along with a jingle and advertisement.

Sudoku Championship(October 12, 2009) - Sudoku Championship (Part of the Technical Fest organized by Computer Society of India) ACM MPSTME organised a Sudoku championship for all the Sudoku fans . We gave them a 20 number Sudoku grid to solve in an hour. The rules were simple , whoever completed the grid first would be the winner. What followed was  a grueling session of mind numbing number solving by all the participants.

Gossip Writing(October 12, 2009) - The participants were given topics  ranging from the Woodsgate  scandal, the Ambani brothers going bankrupt and the latest B-town heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor turning gay. All they had to do was whack their creativity to come up with a piece of gossip not exceeding 100 words, which of course had to be believable enough. The time constraint given to them was 30 minutes.

Logo Factory(14th Oct 2009) - ACM MPSTME student chapter organized Logo Factory, an innovative event at the Taqneeq '09 . Participants had to make a logo for a fictional company by the name of Reliance Airways. It was adjudged by our creative team.
