The event was carried out over an entire day (from 10AM to 5PM).

In the first labathon organized by ACM MPSTME Student Chapter, students were given a brief introduction about the languages. There were told from where to start learning the languages, and sufficient help was given to start them learning. Unlimited cold-drinks was provided to keep the caffeine rush up. C, C++ and JAVA were the primary languages taught. Participants were also given an introduction on online programming contests, and few started coding on online programming sites like codechef. Videos on the Karel Programming Language were also showcased for those interested. It was an interactive learning session that ensured that the participants learned something. About 20 participants took part in the Labathon.
